Jenny Lucander is the acclaimed illustrator of many books, including Freja och kråkungen, Freya and the Snake and We Are Lions!, which won the 2020 Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize. She was nominated for the 2024 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award. Jenny lives and works in Helsinki, Finland.
Karlene Harvey
Karlene Harvey is an illustrator and writer who lives on the unceded and ancestral home territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tseil-Waututh people. Karlene is Tsilhqot’in and Syilx and grew up on territories of the Semiahmoo and Kwantlen Nations. They have illustrated several children’s books, including Drum from the Heart; Every Child Matters; Maggie Lou, Firefox and Kaiah’s Garden.

Tequitia Andrews is an artist and illustrator from Richmond, Virginia. A graduate of Virginia State University, Tequitia is inspired by fashion, music, pop culture and social issues. Her work has appeared on book covers, greeting cards and products, and she has illustrated several picture books.
Jamie Bauza
Jamie Bauza is an award-winning illustrator and designer based in Manila, the Philippines. She has illustrated more than two dozen books for young readers and has been an illustrator in residency at the School of Visual Arts in New York. When she’s not drawing, you can find her in the garden or talking to her cats.
