Karlin Gray is the author of several books for children, including Serena: The Littlest Sister, a picture book biography of Serena Williams. She holds a BA in creative writing from Florida State University. Karlin lives with her family in Westport, Connecticut.
Alison Hughes
Alison Hughes is the author of eighteen books for children and young adults, including the YA novel Hit the Ground Running, which was a finalist for the Governor General’s Literary Awards and a Junior Library Guild selection. Her books have also been nominated nine times for provincial children’s choice awards, among other honors. She enjoys giving writing workshops and presentations at schools, libraries, conferences and festivals. She also works as a writing advisor and editor for the University of Alberta.
Rosanne L. Kurstedt
Rosanne L. Kurstedt, PhD has been an educator for over twenty years, supporting learners of all ages. She is the author of several books for teachers, including Teaching Writing with Picture Books as Models and a series entitled 100+ Growth Mindset Comments. Her first children’s book, Karate Kid (Running Press Kids), was released in 2019. Karen Ng
After starting her career as an investment banking analyst, Karen Ng now works in social impact investing, helping people and organizations to invest their money in a way that creates positive change in the world. She holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a BS in Government and Economics from the London School of Economics. Originally from Hong Kong, she now lives with her husband in London, England, where she volunteers for local women’s and refugees’ charities.
Kirsten Liepmann
After earning a BA from Dartmouth College and an MS in Education from Northwestern University, Kristen Liepmann taught in elementary school for seven years before obtaining an MBA from the University of Oxford. She believes that education and children are the key to positive change and currently works in an education nonprofit in San Jose, California.
