Ann Malaspina has written over thirty books for young people about the environment, social issues and human rights. A former journalist, Ann has an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from Vermont College of Fine Arts. She lives in New Jersey with her family.

Jack Briglio is the writer of the Eisner-nominated fantasy adventure series Growing Up Enchanted (Markosia). He is also the creator of Dominion Jack, a serial in the Joe Shuster–nominated Canadian superhero anthology series True Patriot Presents (ChapterHouse Publishing). Jack has also worked on Scooby-Doo and Legion of Super-Heroes in the 31st Century for DC Comics, Sesame Street Comics for Sesame Street Workshop and Archie’s Friend Scarlet for Archie Comics. Jack lives in Nepean, Ontario.

Kari-Lynn Winters is an award-winning children’s author, playwright, performer and academic scholar. An experienced teacher of writing, she has worked with students across Canada and the United States and is a professor at Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Cameron Spires is a senior creative at one of Canada’s most prominent ad agencies, Rethink. He’s the creator of a webcomic called “Goat to Self” that has over 150k followers across social platforms. He lives in Delta, British Columbia, with his wife and two daughters.
Anna Lazowski
Anna Lazowski wrote her first picture book for a class assignment in the sixth grade and has been creating stories ever since. Now she is an award-winning radio producer and writer, whose journalistic work has been published in various newspapers and magazines, and she is the author of several picture books. She lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, with her husband, kids and dogs.
